Wow! It's so cute! I want one!! How difficult was it? Did you make the pattern yourself? It looks great :)

Question: The seam on each side of the breast, is that a kind of darting or an actual seam?

melissa hi, i did make the pattern myself :-). ill try to put in on here ok? its called a princess design. it exists out of 8 parts. upper part (just under breasts) and lower part. the front exists out of 3 parts above and the 3 parts under. the back out of 2 parts above and under. and than all sown togehter. the lines on the front are seams. u cant see the back part, but i made it deep so u can see a large part of ur back. it has a zipper.
jenny how r u doing?! so long ago that we spoke. left to do for the dress: an inside with army green satin. and the sleeves and also around my neck the seams have to be finished.

oh cool! can you take some pictures of your lining when you're done? i have a "commission" to line a sweater that a friend is knitting, and i have no idea exactly how to begin.. plus, linings are pretty:) your design sounds really complicated--but i'd like to look at it to get an idea of how you design these things!

so i've decided to buy a digital camera soon so i can post pictures of things i've been working on too! maybe this week...

my summer has also been really full of traveling/visitors, so it's been hard to make space. but this blog has really kept me wanting to do it..

hey, found out that my digital camera is arriving TODAY so i'll document stuff this weekend. i'm going to try making the thai fisherman pants, with a few revisions...

miss you too, sas. i'll sit and write you a real email/letter soon--and write me too:)
